Tip #8: Holiday Cheer for College Students

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the holidays this year. It has become very difficult for people to spend time with their loved ones during this season. For college students in particular, it has also become an issue for them to spend time with their friends. Luckily, there are many options that you can explore that are affordable for you and friends to celebrate the Christmas spirit together! You also do not have to go far from the DMV area.

If you are planning to not travel as far, you can go to cities nearby that offer these kinds of festivities. You can drive to New York, and can explore Central Park. You can also go over to the Rockefeller Center, where there is always a huge Christmas tree lit up every year. I mentioned in one of my earlier posts about Williamsburg, VA not being too long of a drive from the city of D.C. Williamsburg offers an Holiday Light Stroll that is decorated beautifully with Christmas decor of all kinds! This year it will be Drive-Thru only due to the pandemic. Busch Gardens will also be offering a Christmas Celebration. Everyone of all ages are invited to join!

I will provide links for these kinds of activities that you can do, safely and affordably!
